Are you a caring, compassionate person with previous care experience?
We’re looking Waking Nights staff to join our small team of carers looking after a wonderful, fun-loving gentleman in his fifties, living with his parents in Armitage.The role is for 3 night per week, from 9:30pm - 6:30am. Some weekend working may be required.
Despite his complex health conditions (including Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, Dysphagia and Sleep Apnoea amongst others), he is always smiling and is a joy to care for. Night shifts are currently 1:1 support.
A typical night shift will include settling the gentleman into bed, fitting a urinary sheath and night bag, monitoring him throughout the night via a monitor, and attending his room for things such as repositioning, suction and personal care.
