On Wednesday, our Client Relations Managers received training from Operation Repeat, an organisation who aim to protect potential victims of fraud through the education of those who support them.
Their aim is for awareness to be introduced and reinforced by support staff as well as giving staff the tools to look out for concerns and therefore stop attempts at fraud sooner. Examples of things they discussed are mass marketing fraud, doorstep crime and cyber crime.
Our CRMs will be working with our care and support staff to pass on this vital information to support them to keep our clients safe.

Within the same meeting, members of our in house Safeguarding Team presented on Self Injurious Behaviour and also provided information on current case studies, to raise awareness of different types of abuse and also the different issues dealt with by the team, to continue to raise awareness of potential concerns and to encourage critical thinking and professional curiosity within the team.
