As you may or may not be aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the focus this year is raising awareness around secondary breast cancer. There are an estimated 61,000 people in the UK who have been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer. Funded research is dedicated to giving those living with the disease more time to live their lives to the fullest.
To help raise money and support Breast Cancer Now with funding, Solo took part in the annual ‘Wear it Pink Day’. All the money raised goes towards providing support for those affected by breast cancer and accelerating the ground-breaking research taking place to combat the disease.
Breast cancer can cause a number of signs and symptoms and Although rare, men can also get breast cancer. Please see your GP if you notice a change to your breast that’s new or unusual for you.
