Mental Health Awareness Week, 10th to 16th May 2021

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place on 10th to 16th May 2021 - this is an annual event, an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. Solo Support Services recognise the importance of this as well as how key it is to talk to others when experiencing mental ill health, therefore we would like to continue our efforts to raise awareness of Mental Health and we’d like you to get involved too.

The theme of this years event is nature. We’ve all been encouraged to take our daily exercise and enjoy nature over the last year and as lock down eases, we do hope that the positive habits started during this time are continued. We’d like you to share your photos of nature from when you go out and about next week to enjoy the great outdoors, to inspire others and share positivity. We will share these images during the week on our website and social media page.

For fun, we’d also like to invite you to share the details of your daily exercise during the week, again so we can share to inspire others. We’ll share the results, be this your daily step count, miles rolled or your thoughts and feelings about how nature has helped you during lockdown, on our website and social media page. Your submissions can be anonymous if you’d like.

Please send to our admin team: office@solosupportservices.co.uk or to your CRM. We look forward to hearing from you.

Details of our Mental Health First Aiders can be found in our Employee handbook, sent to you via e-mail or, where in place, on the electronic health and safety handbook at your place of work.
